A Garden, A Hurricane, A Story of Resilience

The Lake Lure Flowering Bridge in Chimney Rock, North Carolina has always been a special place. It was created, built and maintained by all volunteers. Over time it came to be part of the entire community.  Then in September of 2024 Hurricane Helene came through. This is that story.
